लुधियाना - आर्य कालेज गर्ल़ज सैक्शन में कम्प्यूटर विभाग द्वारा आई .टी. ऐगजिबिशन लगाई गयी जिस में 50 छात्राओं ने अपने माडल प्रस्तुत किए। छात्राओं ने 3D होलोग्राम, साईबर क्राइम, बस टोपौलोजी, डिजीटल ट्रानजेकशन, प्रोसैसिंग आफ पेमैंट कार्ड ट्रानजेकशन आदि विषयों पर विभिन्न प्रकार के माडलस की प्रस्तुति की। कम्प्यूटर विभाग के मुखी प्रो. नीरु ने आधुनिक उपकरणों की महत्ता से सभी छात्राओं को परिचित कराया तथा छात्राओं ने भी उत्तम ढंग से प्रस्तुतीकरण किया। इस अवसर पर कालेज प्रभारी श्रीमती सूक्ष्म आहलूवालिया तथा प्रि. डाॅ. सविता उप्पल जी भी उपस्थित रहे तथा उन्होंने छात्राओं और प्राध्यापक वर्ग द्वारा आयोजित इस कार्यक्रम की भरपूर शलाघा की।

School of Humanities & Physical Education lifts Overall Trophy of CTU Athletic Meet
Ludhiana:
The sports ground was filled with zeal, excitement and sportsman spirit as the
students and faculty marked its two-day 3rd Annual Athletic Meet organised by
Department of Sports. The meet was inaugurated by Charanjit Singh Channi,
Chancellor and Dr Harsh Sadawarti, Vice Chancellor, CTU.
Students
from all the schools participated in various events like 100m race, 200m, 400m
race, 800m race, 1500m Race, 3000m, 5000m race, Long Jump, Relay, Shot Put, Tug
of War, Discuss Throw and Javelin Throw for both girls and boys. Even the
faculty participated in various events. The day started with full
enthusiasm of individual school March Past followed by the oath taking ceremony
by Harmanpreet Kaur, who represented CTU in Florida, USA.
The
students took the oath in full spirit and displayed immense enthusiasm. School
of Humanities & Physical Education lifts Overall Trophy of CTU Athletic
Meet. School of Engineering and Technology remains first runner up whereas
School of Management and Studies bagged second runner up title.
In 5000m
race, for men, the first prize was bagged by Khalfan Said from School of
Pharmaceutical & Health Care Sciences and in women category, Jaspreet Kaur
and Gurvir Kaur from School of Humanities and Physical Education and School of
Management Studies, respectively shared 1st position. Parvinder Singh bags the
title of Best Athlete - Men and Jaspreet Kaur remains Best Athlete - Women.
Dr Praveen
Kumar, Directorate Sports, said, “Every year through Athletic Meet, we witness
a new potential with spirit of sportsmanship. Students put their best efforts
in showcasing their talents. The annual meet is a fruitful activity. I
congratulate the winners and the participants.”

Road to DMCH declared as one-way route
For the convenience
of visitors (including patients and their attendants) coming to DMCH,
Traffic Police Administration and Managing Society of DMCH jointly
declared road to DMCH as one-way.The road was announced as one way to
avoid traffic snarls Police Commissioner- Sh Rakesh Aggarwal along with
Secretary Sh Prem Kumar Gupta presided over the inaugural ceremony.
In his message,
Police Commissioner Sh Rakesh Aggarwal said that DMCH is a premier
medical institution of the region and it is mandatory for the City
Administration and Traffic Police Department to maintain proper flow of
traffic for patients and their attendants visiting DMCH.
Secretary Sh Prem
Kumar Gupta said that the problem of traffic congestion for visitors
coming to DMCH has been quite here for a long time and the ‘Management’
would regularly discuss ways and means with the City Administration
& Traffic Police Department to regulate smooth flow of traffic for
patients and their attendants visiting DMCH
In view of
this new rule, the patients or their attendant can either come to DMCH
either from Sheela Hostel side or from Kuka Diagnostic Centre lying on
its opposite direction and outflow traffic will be allowed to move from
road leading to DMCH Auto Parking. Other senior officials of the Traffic
Police Department including medical administrators of DMCH were present
on the occasion.
DMCH team emerged ‘Winner’ in Inter-College tournament
An inter-college tournament ‘Syndrome’ is being organized between DMCH and CMC, Ludhiana. The four-day tournament saw an interesting “Football Match” on Tuesday between the two colleges and DMCH emerged victorious with a score of 2-1 against CMC.
In the first half, Melvin from CMC scored from the left wing and slotted the ball into the bottom right corner. The second half saw a shift in play and DMCH scored two power goals in the final 10 minutes of the match.
Navneet scored the first goal for DMCH team and then Avi soared above the rest in the final five (5) minutes to head the ball into the roof of the net and put this evenly fought and keenly contested match to rest. The end of the match saw both teams come together to shake hands highlighting the spirit of sportsmanship between the young medical students
दिल का ख्याल रखेगी आयुष्मान सरबत सेहत बीमा योजना
लुधियाना: आर्थिक तौर पर कमजोर (गरीबों) लोगों के दिल की बीमारियों का इलाज अब आयुष्मान सरबत सेहत बीमा योजना में हो सकेगा। अगर किसी की दिल की नालियां बंद हो गई हैं और स्टेंट डालने की जरूरत है तो इस योजना के तहत उसका पूरा इलाज हो जाएगा। उसे सिर्फ टेस्टों के लिए 1499 रुपये ही देने होंगे। अगर एंजियोग्राफी की जरूरत पड़ी तो वह भी केवल 5999
रुपये में हो जाएगी। पंचम अस्पताल ने गरीब मरीजों के लिए सस्ते टेस्ट व सस्ती एंजियोग्राफी की यह स्कीम लांच की है।
इसके लिए 12 फरवरी से 29 फरवरी तक विशेष कैंप लगाया जा रहा है।
इस संबंध में आयोजित प्रेस कांफ्रेंस के दौरान अस्पताल के एमडी व सीनियर कार्डियक सर्जन डॉ. आरपी सिंह ने बताया कि दिल की बीमारियों का इलाज काफी महंगा होता है। इसी कारण गरीब लोग किसी तरह की परेशानी होने पर दिल की बीमारी का इलाज नहीं करा पाते। लेकिन अब सरकार की तरफ से चलाई गई आयुष्मान सरबत सेहत बीमा योजना के तहत गरीब लोगों के दिल का इलाज फ्री हो सकेगा। इतना ही नहीं अगर दिल में स्टेंट डालने की जरूरत भी होगी तो वह भी फ्री डाला जाएगा। अस्पताल के डायरेक्टर हरमनप्रीत सिंह ने कहा कि दिल की बीमारी का पता लगाने के लिए होने वाले टेस्टों (ईसीजी, ईको स्क्रीनिंग, टीएमटी, कोलेस्ट्रॉल, आरएफटी व ब्लड टेस्ट) इत्यादि के लिए मरीज को सिर्फ 1499 रुपये देने होंगे। अगर किसी मरीज को दिल की बंद नालियों की स्थिति पता लगाने के लिए एंजियोग्राफी करानी पड़ी तो इसके लिए उसे केवल 5999 रुपये ही देने होंगे। क्योंकि सरकार की तरफ से यह टेस्ट इस योजना में शामिल नहीं किए गए हैं। टेस्टों के बाद अस्पताल में दाखिल होने पर सारा इलाज आयुष्मान सरबत सेहत बीमा योजना कार्ड पर फ्री होगा। उन्होंने कहा कि पंचम अस्पताल में मरीजों को विश्व स्तरीय इलाज व देखभाल की सुविधा दी जाती है।

CT University organises HR Conclave 2020
Ludhiana: CT University, Ludhiana in association with CertifID, Wills Solutions and Coca Cola organised HR Conclave 2020 in which more than 50 experts across nation participated. The highlights were 04 keynote speakers, 04 panel sessions and more than 20 panellists sharing their experiences under one roof. The Chief Guest for the day remained Dr. Ankita Singh, Vice President & Global Head, HR Admin, Travel & IT Cignex Datamatics, whereas Guest of Honour was Advocate Vikrant Rana, Director, Legal Cell Punjab International Human Rights.

आर्य कॉलेज गर्ल्ज़ सेक्शन की दीक्षा 85% अंक प्राप्त कर कॉलेज में रही प्रथम
लुधियाना : पंजाब यूनिवर्सिटी चंडीगढ़ द्वारा घोषित परीक्षा परिणामों में बी. कॉम पाँचवें सेमेस्टेर में आर्य कॉलेज गर्ल्ज़ सेक्शन की मेधावी छात्रा दीक्षा ने 85.5%अंक प्राप्त के कॉलेज में प्रथम स्थान प्राप्त किया । रूमानी गोयल ने85.17% अंक प्राप्त कर दूसरा स्थान प्राप्त किया जबकि सृष्टि गांधी ने 84.67% अंक हासिल कर कॉलेज में तीसरा स्थान प्राप्त किया। छात्राओं ने 45 डिस्टिंक्शंज़ और 19 प्रथम पज़िशंज़ प्राप्त कर कॉलेज का नाम रोशन किया। कॉलेज को नो कम्पार्ट्मेंट ज़ोन कहे जाने का श्रेय इन मेधावी छात्राओं को ही जाता है । कॉलेज सचिव माननीय सतीशा शर्मा जी, प्रिं डॉ सविता उप्पल जी तथा गर्ल्ज़ सेक्शन इंचार्ज मिसज़ सूक्ष्म आहलूवालिया जी ने छात्राओं को और कामर्स विभाग को उनकी उपलब्धियों पर हार्दिक बधाई दी तथा भविष्य में इसी प्रकार और अधिक परिश्रम करने के लिए प्रेरित भी किया।
