CT University organizes ‘Kavi Darbar’ under Guru Nanak Chair

Ludhiana: CT University (CTU), Ludhiana under the aegis of Guru Nanak Chair, established at 550th Birth Anniversary of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, organised Kavi Darbar themed on ‘So Kyon Manda Aakhiye Jit Jammeh Rajan’ where various poetesses presented their poetry on women empowerment.
The eminent poetesses of the region for the day were Sukhvinder Amrit, Jaspreet ‘Falak’, Dr Lakhwinder Kaur, Dr Davinder Dilroop, Dr Surinder Chopal, Dr Gurcharan Kocchar, a National Awardee, Simran Aks and Maninder Kaur Maan. They presented their latest poems on Women Empowerment. 
Welcoming the guests, Dr Harsh Sadawarti, Vice Chancellor CTU said, “The real satisfaction is that which comes from heart and indeed poetry is that connection towards something soulful. The poetesses are very much creative and with their powerful poetry, they can change the world."
One of the poetesses, Dr Gurcharan Kocchar quoted, “The one who gave birth to such a powerful man Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, Mata Tripta has given the society such an enlightening force. She is a blessing for us.” Also, referring to her real life incident she said that female is a beauty and strength at same end. The house is empty without her.
Meanwhile, Dr Jagtar Singh Dhiman, CTU Registrar said, “Under the aegis of established Guru Nanak Chair at CTU, the team is working ahead for highlighting various research aspects like sociology, psychology and women empowerment that Guru wrote in his writings. The poetesses today beautifully presented their views through their poetry."
