Ludhiana: CT University’s Department of Sports organised a four day ‘CT Cricket Premier Cricket Tournament’ where 16 teams participated from various academies and schools around Punjab.
The teams were from CT Public School Jalandhar, Kido Fit Sports Academy, BMS Cricket Academy, Everest Cricket Club, Police Public School Bharowal, CP Cricket Club Ludhiana, KCB Ludhiana Cricket Academy, Kular Cricket Academy, Young Friends Cricket Club, New Star Academy, Satluj Cricket Academy, Put Pelican Cricket Club, Moga Cricket Academy, DCA Bareta Mansa, PAU Cricket Academy and Pathan Cricket Academy.
Final match was played between CT Public School and Young Friends Cricket Club where after, CT Public School won this match by 50 runs and bagged the cash prize of Rs. 16,000/.
Moreover, Risabh was titled as Best Batsman from CT Public School, Rajeshwar titled with Best Bowler from CT Public School and Sikander as Man of Series from Young Friends Cricket Club.
Dr Praveen Sharma, Director Sports while congratulating the winners said, “Such platforms let students bring out their best and can contribute to nation as a whole. The need of the hour is not just intelligent youth but fit and smart as well and sports activities are best for this.”
Charanjit Singh Channi, Chancellor and Dr Harsh Sadawarti, Vice Chancellor awarded the winners and congratulated them.
