Ludhiana: Following the cleanliness campaign in
view of widespread of Corona Virus, CT University is trying it’s level best in
order to provide safety measures for all. Now, the mandatory screening of
visitors visiting the campus has begun, before allowing them to enter. Apart
from installing an infrared thermometer to check the body temperature,
university has also kept sanitizers at the entry gates, besides providing masks
and gloves to security personnel.
Dr Harsh
Sadawarti, Vice Chancellor CTU, said “The well-being and safety of the students
staying back in hostels and visitors is our priority. In view of the increasing
concerns about COVID-19, we are working closely with local authorities and
following all guiding principles and protocols as recommended by ministry of
health and local authorities and the Government of India. In case, any visitor
is detected by fever or any other symptom, then he/she will be taken to nearby
hospital from our end for the check-up.”
