BVM (Udham Singh Nagar) Commemorates Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur ji on his Martyrdom day

BVM (USN) observed the martyrdom day of the ninth guru Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur ji a great poet, thinker and warrior, with great piousness and serenity. Sangeeta Thapar (TGT Hindi) sensitized Bhartiyans with the life & sacrifices of Guruji. She said Guru Teg Bahadur ji dedicated his life for the betterment of the humankind, to promote a sense of unity and peace. Commemorating His supreme sacrifice & valour, Bisman singh (class VIII) through his speech apprised one and all with his artillery skills, ideals and sacrifices and emphasised on Guruji’s teachings to be courageous, determined & selfless servants of the humanity. Guru Teg Bhadur ji popularly known as 'Hind Di Chadar' worked to alleviate the sufferings of the people & fighting against the oppression. A documentary based on the anecdotes of Guru Ji was shown to the students which filled one and all with immense devotion. Niharika (class 8) paid tribute to the great Guru through a soulful poem 'Chandni Chowk'. On this eve Principal Bandana Sethi motivated the students to follow his teachings of love, harmony, compassion &benevolence in a true spirit and strive to be worthy of his noble legacy.
